Blackened Chicken and Marinara Recipe
Serves 8
Marinara Ingredients
3 cans tomato sauce
4 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp onion powder
4 tsp thyme leaves
4 tsp oregano leaves
2 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Marinara Directions
Combine all ingredients and stir well.
On medium-high, bring the sauce to temp.
Serve over noodles!
Chicken Seasoning Ingredients
4 large chicken breasts, sliced lengthwise to be 3/4 inch thick
1/2 Tbs smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 oregano leaves
1/4 salt
Serving Suggestions
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan

Blackened Chicken Directions
Lightly layer tops of chicken breasts with avocado oil.
Sprinkle an even layer of the seasoning over the chicken breasts. For more kick, do this to both sides of the breast!
Heat 2-3 Tbs avocado oil in a skillet on med-high heat.
Cook chicken breasts in the skillet about 3 minutes per side until they reach a temp of 165, there is no pink in the middle, and the juices run clear.
To plate this dinner, add the cooked noodles, topped by the sauce and chicken. Finish it off with freshly grated parmesan!
Serve with bread and salad!
